• If you have Long Term Care Insurance home care services may be covered by your policy.
• If you are eligible for Home Care assistance. Some agencies may be able to provide services at little or no cost. We would be happy to direct you to the appropriate agency.

Before you hire a healthcare provider, you should ask:

• Are agency employees covered by theft and liability insurance and workers compensation insurance?
• Have agency employees been screened for a Criminal History and through the DPH Nurse’s Aide Registry?
• Does the agency have a Registered Nurse on staff?
• Is there an additional charge for nursing supervisory visits?
• Do they bill for updating family members?
